Diamond Head rises to the east, the city hums far below, and the warm, steady air of Honolulu moves through the lanai as you settle into a place that feels both elevated and effortlessly connected to everything Waikiki has to offer. The beach, restaurants, and shops are all within easy walking distance - and when you are ready to come back up, the world looks entirely different from this height.<br /><br />The space<br />This one-bedroom condo in Tower 2 of Waikiki Banyan accommodates up to three guests. The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding door and is set up with a king-size bed, nightstands, and closet storage. In the living area, a sectional sofa offers a comfortable place to unwind, paired with a 55-inch HDTV with standard cable. The single-level layout keeps everything connected while still giving you room to spread out.<br /><br />Kitchen and dining<br />The fully equipped kitchen features a Maytag refrigerator, Samsung stainless steel electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a full range of cooking basics, dishes, and silverware. A rice maker, blender, toaster, baking sheet, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, and wine glasses are also on hand. The dining table and breakfast bar seating make it easy to enjoy a home-cooked meal or map out the day's adventures over morning coffee.<br /><br />Bathroom and comforts<br />The bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a glass door and a spacious vanity. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hair dryer are provided, along with fresh towels, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, and room-darkening shades for a restful night's sleep. The condo is cooled by a window AC unit, and fast Wi-Fi at 212 Mbps keeps you connected for streaming, video calls, or remote work via Ethernet connection.<br /><br />Outdoor living<br />Step out onto your private lanai, furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining or simply taking in the ocean view. The building also offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and shared BBQ grill. Beach essentials - including beach towels, umbrella, beach blanket, and snorkeling gear - along with sun loungers, are available for your outings. Note that the pool and hot tub are currently under renovation until April 2026.<br /><br />Building and location<br />Waikiki Banyan features elevator access, a coffee shop and convenience store in Tower 1, and laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers - a starter pack of laundry detergent is included. Free parking for one vehicle is provided in the on-site garage, and an EV charger (Level 2) is also available. Shared beach access is nearby, and free resort access is included with your stay. The condo is approximately a twenty-minute drive from Honolulu Airport. An outdoor playground is also available on the property.<br /><br />Stay details<br />Self check-in is available via keypad.
