The Makai Suite is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath suite located on the 2nd floor of the Diamond Head Beach Hotel & Residences, an oceanfront building on Oahu’s Gold Coast.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Listen to the ocean and feel the sea breezes sweep over you as you relax beneath the shadows of swaying coconut trees. Let The Makai Suite be your comfortable place to return to after the day’s adventures.<br /><br />The Makai Suite is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath suite located on the 2nd floor of the Diamond Head Beach Hotel & Residences, an oceanfront building on Oahu’s Gold Coast. The 750 square feet interior of The Makai Suite is tastefully simple and overly comfortable. The living room has an over-sized sofa with a pull out bed , a large flat-screen TV, DVD player, Bose surround sound and track lighting that dims. However **PLEASE NOTE** TO GET TO THE SECOND BEDROOM, YOU MUST WALK THROUGH THE FIRST BEDROOM TO GAIN ACCESS TO IT . THERE IS A PRIVACY CURTAIN. Both bedrooms have their own access to bathroom. Bathroom has a Walk-in shower, NO tub. There is a full kitchen with granite counter tops that include a dishwasher and everything you need to prepare a meal. The Makai Suite also comes with free Wi-Fi and cable television throughout the duration of your stay. <br /><br />The Makai Suite does NOT have an ocean view, however the building features a beautiful lawn/garden area at the back of the building with lawn chairs and tables to watch the sunset or relax facing the ocean.<br /><br />Pet Policy: No pets are allowed in the unit.<br /><br />The Diamond Head Beach Hotel and Residences offers a peaceful, island atmosphere while being close enough to all the action. Located just minutes from Waikiki Beach along Kalakaua Avenue where you’ll find some of Honolulu’s best dining and entertainment. Ideal for those who want a quiet, low profile atmosphere, yet still want to be close to the city life. The Makai Suite will feel less like a hotel and more like your own ocean side condo.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />There will be 2 set of fobs available for you to get in and out of the building and to access the lanai. <br /><br />Guests have access to all common area floors such as the basement where the coin-operated laundry facility, ice makers and vending machines are located.<br /><br />You will automatically have access to your check in codes and instructions here on the AirBnB platform. If you are unable to access them, please contact us directly, or AirBnB customer service.<br /><br />Please let us know in advance your time you expect to arrive to the unit on the day of your check in. We like to keep our on-site management informed, in case anything is needed. Mahalo!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Laundry: There is a laundry facility in the basement of the building for a small fee. The credit card/coin-operated laundry machines costs $2.00/load for the washing machine and $1.50/load for the dryer. Laundry soap is not provided but can be purchased at the laundry facility. <br /><br /><br />Ice Machine: There is an ice machine in the basement of the building next to the laundry facility for no extra charge.<br /><br />Pet Policy: No pets are allowed in the unit.<br /><br />All confirmed guests can access their Check-in/Check-out Instructions on AirBnB app on day of arrival. Please let us know in advance your time you expect to arrive to the unit on the day of your check in. We like to keep our on-site management informed, in case anything is needed.<br /><br />Parking on street is first come first serve basis, and it is metered between 10am-6pm.
