See spectacular sunrises, moonrises, and giant green-sea turtles sleep on this sandy beach at night until dawn.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This cottage is part of a condo complex, but you feel like you have your own little beach house at the far end of the property. This ground-floor unit is part of a 4-plex, 2-story building with 3 other cottages. It has a large, covered patio and one assigned parking stall next to the cottage. Nicely furnished with cottage charm, 3 comfortable beds, and everything you need for a great stay, including BBQ area, pool, and fitness room onsite. Construction going on during weekdays to upgrade the entire condo complex, but no construction going on inside or outside the cottages. Daily rate is greatly reduced due to construction onsite, and no refunds granted after arrival due to construction issues. A lockbox is located on the kitchen door, under the staircase. Guests must register their arrival with a QR code, found inside the cottage, and they can enjoy all of the condo amenities, including private beach access, a pool, fitness room, beachfront lounge chairs, and a charcoal BBQ area. One assigned parking stall is included. No cable TV, but streaming services are available on a "Smart TV" that can be used with guest account information.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Hawaii GE/TA Tax ID #184-219-6480-01<br />The rate includes all taxes, resort and parking fees. The cottage is part of a condo complex located in a tropical, rural area. No other hotels nearby, but the 5-star Turtle Bay Resort is 11 miles north. Local road-side food-wagons are across the street, a large grocery market is 2 miles north, and a larger supermarket is 5 miles north. The Polynesian Cultural Center is 5 miles north with the best luau show on the island. Tip: buy groceries before arrival because the prices are lower and the selection is better in the Honolulu area. The most attractive feature at this location is the secluded beach that is safe for swimming and snorkeling. No worries about big waves here, due to an offshore reef. Rental rates are discounted due to construction onsite, but no construction in or near the cottages. When cooking in the cottage, please use one major kitchen appliance at a time to avoid tripping a breaker, (If this happens, please contact me for help.)
