Rates discounted, due to construction on the main building, next to this cottage.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The cottage is in a 132 unit condo complex. There are 3 cottage buildings on the property + an 8-story building. Each cottage is a 4-plex building with 2 ground-floor units, and 2 upstairs units. This cottage is an upstairs unit and has great ocean views! Currently, there is construction on the mountain side of the main building, and you may see and hear construction noise during weekdays, Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. Please read reviews for more info about construction from guest comments. The daily rate includes all fees, except the cleaning fee, and it has been discounted due to any inconvenience guests may experience from construction noise. A king bed and 1 twin bed can accommodate 3 guests.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You may go directly to Cottage R4 upon arrival. This is a self-check-in process, and check-in is anytime AFTER 4:00 pm, and departure time is BEFORE 11:00 on the departure date. Enter property from the north driveway and park in any stall painted white or pink, or marked BHL, then proceed to the unit. An on-duty security guard is available to assist guests in finding their units at night. Please register your arrival with a QR code you will find inside the cottage. This cottage is upstairs, in the 3rd cottage to the south. The door access code is 8381. For guests convenience, there is a shared laundry cabinet with the other 3 cottages, located next to Cottage R1. This cottage has 1 unassigned BHL parking stall, and no additional guest parking is available on site. There is a T-mobile wifi router by the TV. Wifi access information is located on the back of the white router box and inside the unit. Please do NOT move the router box because it may disrupt your access to wifi services. There is no cable TV service but you may use your own streaming account services. (Don't forget to log-off of your streaming services before your departure.)<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Hawaii GE/TA-132-459-5712-01<br />The rental rate includes 4.712% GE taxes, 10.25% TA taxes, and 3% OTAT taxes. No resort fees, parking fees, or wifi fees. This cottage is part of a condo association that is located in a rural area. There aren't other hotels or commercial ventures located nearby, including restaurants and bars. There is a grocery market 2 miles north, and a larger supermarket 5 miles north. Tip: buy groceries before arrival because the prices are lower and the selection is better in the Honolulu area.
