Our 1 bedroom apartment is a 10 minute walk to Waikiki beach, Ala Moana Beach & Shopping Center, & the Convention Center.<br /><br />It is close to Downtown Honolulu, grocery stores, banks and drug stores. Plenty of restaurants nearby.<br /><br />There’s wifi (200 mb download/10 mb upload), a Roku Smart TV in bedroom, a 50" TV in the living room, cooking supplies, dishes & beach towels and supplies!<br /><br />FYI You are located in a busy area. You must be ok with street noise.<br /><br />Permit Number: 2210-CCH-0059<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This apartment is super convenient for an active and outdoors Hawaiian vacation. It's located right in between Honolulu's urban center and world famous Waikiki.<br /><br />There in a window AC in the bedroom window. There are ceiling fans in both rooms and a portable fan. There are heat blocking curtains in both rooms. If you need it cold in the living room then I suggest you keep the curtains closed, keep the bedroom door open with the AC on all day and close the bathroom door. Since the AC is in the bedroom the bedroom will be colder than the living room. <br /><br />Since it is in the middle of all the action, there is traffic noise as well as street noise, and noise from the sports bar downstairs when there are major sports events on tv (NFL and NBA playoffs). If you want it to be quiet all the time, please book somewhere else.<br /><br />Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is provided, and I can help you if you have any questions.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The entire apartment is yours to use. There is a coin / app operated laundry room on the 1st floor. To wash is $2 and to dry is $2.<br /><br />There is no parking in the building and we do not recommend renting a car. It's easier to walk, take an Uber or Lyft, or the bus, or just rent a car for a day and return it that evening. Hui is a car rental app that includes parking and gas.<br /><br />If you do rent a car, then you can park it in various paid parking lots in the area. The closest is the parking lot on 444 Ena Rd, across from Hobron Road. It's a 2 minute walk from our building. <br /><br />As of 7/17/24, you can park there for $5/hr, $20/5 hours, or $39 for 24 hours (though these rates could change, and we have no control over this). We do not guarantee there will be spots available in the lot for you to park. Be prepared to find more expensive parking at another lot if it is full. <br /><br />Other lots with parking are:<br /><br />-Wailana at Waikiki at 1860 Ala Moana Blvd (as of 7/17/24 $2 for 30 minutes, $25 overnight parking 8pm to 8am)<br /><br />-Eaton Square at 444 Hobron Lane (as of 7/17/24 is $150/mo, $40/day, $3 for 30 minutes).<br /><br />-Canterbury Place, 1910 Ala Moana Blvd (as of 7/17/24 $40/24 hours, car can be left overnight but gates are closed from 11pm - 6am)<br /><br />We have no control over prices so they can change.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please advise host on how many beds you need. There is a queen size bed and two sofa beds. Special arrangements must be done to prepare sofa beds. Please give prior notice to prepare the amount of sofa beds you require. <br /><br />Also, be sure you book the correct number of guests with AirBnB as the 3rd guest and 4th guest have an additional fee per night. If you input the correct number of guests to begin with, AirBnB will auto calculate the total cost with extra guests for you.
