Kula Jasmine studio is reached by a bridge pathway. The shared barbecue area just steps from your studio offers a place to prep your own meals. We provide reverse osmosis filtered water in the outdoor kitchen sink, so there is no need to buy bottled water. We also provide coffee, tea, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. You can either dine on the waterfall deck or the barbecue area while you watch the sunset. With years as AirBnb super hosts, we've got everything you need.<br />Permit # BBMP20160004<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Fully permitted Jasmine Studio is the ground floor of our main house and is completely private with its own separate garden entrance, and a secure parking spot on the premises. It also has its own private bathroom/shower, and additional hot water garden shower outside. No key is necessary as you will be given your own personal passcode. Kula Jasmine Studio is for 1 to 2 non-smoking adults who appreciate tranquility. We offer a private studio in the pastoral setting of our Kula home, unlike a hotel. Upcountry Maui is much cooler than sea level and offers a much calmer pace. It is the perfect garden sanctuary to come back to after a day of adventures, and a great launchpad to numerous Upcountry Maui adventures: hiking or sunrise/sunset at Haleakalā National Park, horse backing riding, exploring the Paniolo (cowboy) town of Makawao, the beach town of Pā'ia, wine tasting in Ulupalakua, and an ideal starting point for driving out to Kipahulu and Hāna. We are far enough away from the city lights that it is the perfect place for stargazing. The closest beaches (North Shore) are 35 minutes away.<br /><br />A note on privacy: Myself (Jill), my husband, and our daughter live upstairs and you may see us out gardening in the yard and walking our dogs. We have another airbnb studio on the premises, Kula Jacaranda, which also hosts 2 guests, so you may see those guests in the parking area or the outdoor kitchen that is available for both airbnbs. Both studios have private entrances across separate wisteria covered bridges and are quite a distance from each other. There are many different garden areas and everyone can always find their own secluded spot to curl up with a book or watch the sunset. There are many different deck spaces. In the Koa tree forest on the south side of the property, you will find a 12 ' x 12' yoga deck. In the 'Ōhi'a Lehua forest on the north side of the property, there is another 12' x 12' yoga deck. (We provide yoga mats, which you will find in the outdoor kitchen). There is another 8' x 8' deck with adirondack chairs, settled between fruit trees in the middle of the property, between the 2 airbnbs, and that is a great place to watch the sunset. There are lawns below each airbnb studio, each with their own set of chaise lounge chairs, and there is a banana grove between the two lawns giving each airbnb garden privacy from one another. Even if both couples are using the outdoor kitchen, there are many places to spread out with your meals. There is a deck on the west side of the outdoor kitchen that includes a dining table and BBQ, and there is another beautiful deck on the north side of the kitchen with a firepit and seating. Both of these kitchen decks have ocean views. There is also a large island and stool seating in the kitchen. Everyone can find their own private places.<br /><br />Please note: if you are looking to be close to beaches or tourist attractions on Maui, we suggest you consider accommodations in Kihei, Wailea, West Maui, or Pā'ia. We are 35 minutes from the closest beaches on the North Shore, an hour from the South Shore, and 1.5 hours from the beaches on West Maui. We offer rural mountainside tranquility that is available because we are not close to those places.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Jasmine is reached via an ivy covered redwood foot bridge fringed by banana trees. The entire lower garden and entrance is private with is own secure parking.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Check in is at 3:00 p.m. and Check out is at 10:00 a.m.<br />Upon special request a 1 night stay may be available.<br />We are a permitted Bed & Breakfast.<br /><br />Upcountry Maui is unique and has much to offer. Please be aware we are not near the beach. We are conveniently located closer to Haleakala crater in the upcountry area with its staggering views and all it has to offer away from the crowded tourist zones. We are in easy reach of the back road to Hana, the less trodden path. We are near the Maui Winery, the Lavender Farm, Polipoli Springs, Thompson Ranch horseback riding, Oprah's beautiful Thompson Road for breathtaking walks, great local restaurants and tons of local activities.<br /><br />You can always reach the beach in 35 minutes.<br /><br /><b>Registration Details</b><br />226720160004, TA-195-519-6928-01
