The space stays comfortable with fans, along with trade winds that flow naturally through the unit. The condo is a cozy 600 sq ft and is located on the second floor of a walk-up building (no elevator). This is a centrally located unit that’s near the main freeway. <br />.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You have access to 2 pools, rec room, plus BBQ grills! We also have beach gear for you!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />DISTANCE TO GROCERY STORES, POST OFFICE, COFFEE & SHOPS: Safeway, Papaya health food store and Starbucks are just a few mins away, located just across the street. <br /><br />BEACH STUFF! We provide beach chairs, boogie boards, & towels.<br /><br />DISTANCE TO NORTH/SOUTH SHORE: It depends on traffic. It can take anywhere from 35-60 minutes depending on where you go to either shore. It's best to use an app to estimate your ETA and head out early if you're heading south.<br /><br />ACTIVITY: This is a very active area. It is a convenient location with walking access to restaurants and shops. It is busy during the day. <br /><br />NOISE LEVEL: The unit itself is fairly quiet for being in a central location, but if you are sensitive to sounds, it may not be ideal for you. You may hear people above you and outside. Also, there are roosters all over the island. <br /><br />PLACES TO SEE: Waimea canyon, Poipu beach, Ke'e beach, Hanalei Bay, Na Pali coast, Kalalau Trail, Anini, Koke'e, Kilauea. You also receive a comprehensive guidebook upon your stay.<br /><br />TAXES: All reservation stays are subject to Hawaii Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) 11% Kaua’i Transient Accommodation Tax (KTAT) 3% and General Excise Tax (GET) Tax 4.712%.
