The meat is available through Stemple Creek Ranch. Honey bees also reside on the farm, managed by Sola Bee, and used to pollinate fruit orchards in the spring.<br /><br />Silver Penny Farm seeks to be a place for convening and exploring the interconnectedness of community, sustainable farming, and the ecology of working lands. <br /><br /><br />Inside Casa Grande:<br />Enjoy the quiet California countryside during your stay at the Casa Grande. With 3000-square feet of space, you’ll find an open kitchen for gathering, a dining area with double doors to an enclosed patio, a large living room with a sunny porch for reading and relaxing. There’s plenty of outdoor space for enjoying al fresco dining or simply unwinding with a walk in the gardens. Enjoy the warm interiors with bright natural light that pours in from the large windows. Please reach out if you would like to book the full 5 bedroom house or both this house and the additional suite.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You’ll have access to the surrounding gardens as well as the 17.5 acres of farmland. You'll share Silver Penny with the permanent residents who are local makers, ecologists and food industry workers. While exploring please stay within the property line fences and be mindful of the private residences.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Looking for an easy way to taste the local culture? We also offer an artisan cheese and honey tasting basket for purchase, curated by the founder of Cowgirl Creamery.
