Aloha - Keith and Ashley<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Aloha,<br />Watch the ships , waterfalls and rainbows from the huge wrap around deck as the horses graze in the pasture and yard, and<br />on both sides of our 20<br />acre ranch property. <br />There is roughly a half mile of isolated stream valleys and waterfalls . There are many totally private waterfalls and pools to enjoy for the experienced hiker. This makes for great exploring adventures. Hiking in the stream valleys goes for miles above the property as well. <br />Our turn key, off the grid, two story 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. Lindal Cedar Homes A-Frame ranch house has great views from the upstairs loft.<br />There is one king and one queen bed upstairs . The down stairs bedroom has a Cal-King. The 60' deck with ocean and mountain views make the hammock one of life's great rewards! <br />There are granite counter tops in kitchen.<br />Outside you can sit under the stars around the camp fire and roast some marshmallows. We are situated between two tropical stream valleys with total privacy. Located 25 minutes north of Hilo and 30 minutes from Waipio Valley. The house is 2 miles from the highway with the last 1/4 mile dirt road. If you are looking for an over the river and through the woods getaway experience on the Big Island this is the place for you. <br />NOTE : Flooding may and does occur in North Hilo and the Big Island. Please use Extreme caution when near, swimming in or crossing any waterway. 4x4 or jeep is recommended for exploring back road areas on the island and to get to my place. 4x4 is required to access Waipio Valley, Green Sands Beach and Mauna Kea . Aloha and BE SAFE !<br /><br />I recommend Turo car rental<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guest are welcome to roam at liberty around most of the property. Pick any fruit you can find in our citrus orchard and have fun outside. Guest cannot access the farm dwellings, or main house without permission for obvious reasons, but we are usually happy to talk story, show you our favorite places and tour the different spaces we are working on.<br /><br />▷ Papaaloa Country Store and Cafe (2 miles / 13 min drive)<br /><br />We will make sure you know where the nearest stores, restaurants and gas stations are located.
