After years of anticipation, we finally made it into this hidden complex in Kona. In September 2024, we completed a full remodel on the first unit and were fortunate to buy this attached unit! We completed renovation May 2025. The unit has A/C<br /><br />The kitchen has been completely updated with white cabinets, appliances, and a spacious island, creating a cozy and inviting space. We’ve stocked it with all new dishes, glassware, and cutlery, rice cooker, blender, coffee maker (with a grinder and milk frother) and a toaster.<br /><br />The bedroom, with its wall of windows, features a comfortable king bed with fresh linens and pillows. It can be left open to the living room or closed off with sliding doors for privacy. <br /><br />The living room is furnished with all-new pieces and a 65” smart TV. The lanai, which adds 200 square feet of living space, is perfect for lounging with a comfy daybed and two chairs—ideal for soaking in the magnificent sunsets. <br /><br />The bathroom is truly one of a kind. The expansive windows make you feel as if you're showering outdoors! For added convenience, a Toto washlet toilet. <br /><br />For your convenience, there’s a full-size stacked washer and dryer. We also provide beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for your trips to the beach. <br /><br />Parking is conveniently located right in front, with just four steps to the front door. The backyard space is private, with no neighbors directly behind.<br /><br />The complex feels like a resort with its lush landscape and two pools. Gas BBQs are available throughout the grounds. Right behind the complex is Kona Country Club, home to an 18-hole golf course. Keauhou Bay and Marina are just a short walk away, offering fishing, snorkeling tours, and the renowned night manta ray snorkel. You can also find stand-up paddleboarding and outrigger canoeing in the bay.<br /><br />Just a quick walk takes you to Keauhou Shopping Center, where you'll find KTA grocery store, Longs Drugs, several fantastic restaurants, bars, an urgent care center, and a seven-screen movie theater. Plus, don't miss the farmers market every Saturday!<br /><br />This Kona bungalow is the best home base to explore all the Big Island has to offer!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Full unit.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Being in the tropics comes with occasional beetles, roaches and other insects. While we try to keep deterrents you may encounter. <br /><br />You will see many geckos and not only are they harmless but locals think of geckos as a sort of “guardian” to help protect your home from the many bugs and insects. Please keep screens closed to keep them outside!<br /><br />A/C unit is installed. We kindly ask you to please close ALL windows when using and please turn off if you are leaving for the day. Hawaii electricity is so expensive. We want you comfortable and also want to keep costs down.
