Rates reduced due to construction onsite, but no construction in the unit or on the beachside.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This unit is a 400 sq. ft. 2nd floor cottage that can accommodate 4 people in 3 beds. There is a queen bed in a separate sleeping room, and 2 twin beds in the main living area. Wifi, parking, beach towels, and limited beach equipment are provided. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is there. There are road-side food-wagons across the street and two supermarkets a few miles away. This area is home to the Polynesian Cultural Center, a very popular tourist attraction. Oahu's world-famous North Shore is 12 miles north and is the surfing capital of the world.<br /><br />The cottage is part of a 132 unit condo complex. There are 3 cottage buildings on the property and an 8-story building. Each cottage building is a 4-plex building with 2 ground-floor units, and 2 upstairs unit. This cottage is an upstairs unit and has spectacular ocean views! Currently there is construction going-on in the main building but there is no construction going-on inside this unit. However, you might hear construction noise from the main building during the week, Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Electronic keypad code will be provided prior to check-in. Assigned parking stall is I-3. Please display your parking pass or a $25 parking citation will be issued. There aren't other hotels or commercial ventures located nearby, including restaurants and bars. There is a grocery market 2 miles north, and a larger supermarket 5 miles north. I recommend buying groceries before arrival because the prices are lower and the selection is better in the Honolulu area.
