Enjoy the spectacular bay view and watch incredible sunsets from your private deck.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our oasis in the oaks lets you unwind in a peaceful, relaxing setting that feels like being in a park, but is actually only minutes away from gourmet restaurants, markets, hiking trails, and the cultural riches of the Bay Area. The 1,000 square foot apartment is all on one level, with a queen sized bed and a bonus room that can be used as an office or a second bedroom with a foldout couch. The entire apartment is west-facing with lots of windows and natural light. The modern and recently remodeled kitchen has a bar with counter stool seating, dishwasher, oven, full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker. There is a stacked washer and dryer between the kitchen and bathroom.<br /><br />The main living area and kitchen share one open space with hardwood floors and leads out to your own private deck with patio table and chairs, and an unobstructed 2-bridge bay view (Bay and Golden Gate bridges). <br /><br />Being only 3 miles from UC Berkeley, we get lots of longer term guests who are visiting professors or on sabbatical (and not all through Airbnb, which is the reason for the relatively few reviews on here).
