Oakland Port, and the East Bay. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Diablo, 43 miles away!<br /><br />The 49 steps up to the front door pay off big time with an incredible view of the city. Watch the sunrise from our private deck and enjoy the panoramic city view while you enjoy your meal from the dining room area. <br /><br />The home is tastefully decorated with a mix of contemporary and mid-century modern style. <br /><br />The upstairs master bedroom has panoramic views. It includes a queen size bed from Pottery Barn, a luxurious ensuite bathroom with dual shower heads, and a private outdoor rooftop deck.<br /><br />The guest bedroom has a Crate & Barrel queen bed has cozy sheets and a selection of comfortable pillows. A large dresser and closet space give you space to unpack and settle in.<br /><br />Enjoy making a homemade meal in this kitchen with a 4-burner stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, garbage disposal, and brand new Bosch dishwasher!<br /><br />A beautiful living and dining area is a great space to watch a show on the 47" HD Sony TV, catch up on work e-mails at the desk with a Herman Miller Are on chair, or relax with friends, family or colleagues.<br /><br />The property includes an in-unit washer/dryer (with complimentary detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets), domestic long distance phone service, digital cable and high-speed wireless internet.<br /><br />The outdoor deck off the living room as been recently renovated with an Adirondack bench and table for two from Room & Board, as well as modern DIY planters we made out of filing cabinets (we are quite proud of these).<br /><br />Enjoy the beautiful yard with calla lilies, roses, geraniums, hydrangeas, and other plants that attract birds and butterflies to our yard.<br /><br />There is an air conditioner in the upstairs master bedroom, the other rooms can be cooled using fans.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />THE HOME: You would have access to the entire home, including both master and guest bedrooms. <br /><br />THE PROPERTY: This home is the upper unit of a duplex. While you won't hear the neighbors from inside the home, you may see them coming and going through the shared front gate for the property. Smile, say hi, they're friendly, nice people just like you :-)<br /><br />This is the primary home of your hosts. We leave behind some food basics for you to enjoy.<br /><br />PARKING: Free street parking is available on our block, or just a block or two away.<br /><br />NEIGHBORHOOD/TRANSIT: We're just a short .5 mi walk down the hill to the Castro MUNI Station where there is a wide selection of shops and restaurants. From there, you're just a 10-15 train ride from the Union Square, the Financial District and the Embarcadero.<br /><br />The 33-Ashbury bus stops in front of our house (no, literally in front of our house!), which you can take to Valencia Street, the Mission, and the 16th & Mission BART station from where you can go to to SF Airport and the East Bay. Take the 33 the other direction and you can get to Cole Valley, Golden Gate Park, and the Presidio.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />As a same-sex couple, we understand the need for inclusive accommodations when we travel.
