Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The top floor open plan living room and kitchen is light-filled and super comfortable. Step out onto the adjoining deck and enjoy views of downtown and the Bay Bridge! There's another deck downstairs, along with three bedrooms (one set up as an office, where we can leave an air mattress.) Below that is the cozy courtyard with hot tub, hang out space, and custom mural.<br /><br />Please note: events strictly prohibited and $5000 fee in case of party/noise.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This is my happy family home of 14 years, which we rent out for summers and when we're away. It's a super cozy and welcoming space. The home doesn't share any walls with other homes. It's in a busy neighborhood and just a block from some of the best bars and restaurants in the city, but being up a slight hill and surrounded by trees makes it feel very calm.<br />Note there is lots of city noise here, but we have fans and white noise machines in the bedrooms to help with that.<br />The house is on 3 levels (entry 0, bedrooms and bathrooms 1, and kitchen/living room 2) so lots of stairs are involved. It's a good house for kids, and there are toys and books here, but it's not "baby-proofed" anymore.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />In terms of sleeping arrangements, there are a lot of options:<br /><br />- Queen bed in main bedroom. (2)<br />- Twin bunk beds and twin size trundle in bunkroom. (3)<br />- Corduroys brand bean bag that turns into a queen size foam mattress - friends say it's like sleeping on a giant pillow and similar comfort level to an air mattress. (1-2)<br />- Queen air mattress. (1-2)<br />- Upstairs Restoration Hardware couch that is huge and has a single cushion on bottom - sleeps like a twin bed. I'm very tall and this is where I sleep if I can't use the main queen bed. (1)<br />- Upstairs giant window seat cushions can be pulled off to sleep two kids or adults on the floor in a pinch. Sleepover tested and approved! (2)<br /><br />The upstairs kitchen/living room space is open plan 25"x25" feet and has minimal curtains. The office is small and dark and has plenty of room for a queen mattress, or you could pull the twin trundle from the bunk room into there.<br /><br />My house is the clubhouse for my friend group and we host lots of people frequently!
