Private front and back entrances, ocean breezes moving through, and on a good swell day you can hear the waves from inside.<br /><br />The real heart of the space is the private lanai off the back door. It’s yours alone: a quiet patio with a hammock chair, ocean and sunset views, and where most guests end up spending their mornings with coffee. The washer and dryer are tucked out here too, so the flow of a longer stay feels easy and uninterrupted.<br /><br />The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking. Reverse osmosis filtered water and ice, dishwasher, rice cooker, and the basics already stocked so your first night is easy. A new queen bed with blackout shades, high-speed fiber WiFi, and dedicated parking mean nothing is missing for a longer stay.<br /><br />When you’re ready to head out, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, and a cooler are ready to go.<br /><br />This is a peaceful space designed for people who want to actually feel where they are visiting. Inside, the space is minimal and intentional, designed to feel calm rather than cluttered. The home stays naturally cool most days with steady trade winds. <br /><br />We’re a young family living upstairs — early to rise, early to bed, and usually out catching waves or chasing our toddler in between. We love sharing this place and are always reachable through the app if you need anything.<br /><br />You will hear the sounds of daily life from above during the day: footsteps, laughter, a lively two-year-old in the mornings. We aim to be mindful, but want to be upfront that some noise will travel. Evenings are quiet.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Your dedicated parking space is steps from the front entrance, making it easy to load and unload gear.<br /><br />You have full, private access to the entire bottom unit and the ground-level north lanai. We live upstairs and while we share a driveway and front yard, the two spaces feel genuinely separate. You may occasionally see us doing yard work out front, but we keep to ourselves and will always respect your space.<br /><br />The back lanai is entirely yours. For stays over a week, we may need brief access for landscaping and will always coordinate with you in advance.<br /><br />We ask that the upstairs area and backyard remain private to us.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />The property sits on natural lava rock, so the exterior surfaces are uneven in places. Gravel, rock walls, and irregular terrain are part of the island landscape. A paved cement path connects your parking space to the front entrance for easy access.<br /><br />Please take care when moving around outside, and supervise children closely at all times.
