In the second bedroom the Murphy Bed fitted with a Room and Board mattress that can be tucked away so that you may open the drop leaf table and turn that room into a formal dining room.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />You will be walking distance to many restaurants, bars, the opera, symphony, and theater. Living in this place you truly get the local San Francisco experience. <br /><br />As for your sleeping accommodations, the master bedroom offers a California King size McCroskey Mattress which may just be the most comfortable bed ever to exist. The living room boasts a new couch, which open to another bed (should you need the extra sleeping space). The back bedroom has a Room and Board Queen Mattress. There are large pocket doors which open between the master bedroom and living room for a more open feel during the day. The apartment is very spacious.<br /><br />For eating, in the second bedroom the Murphy Bed can be tucked away so that you may open the drop leaf table and turn that room into a formal dining room for six. The chair are located in the back bedroom and there is another in the hallway. The outside patio includes a BBQ <br /><br />There are double pane windows, all fitted with screens so you can let the air in without the bugs and a chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The bathroom boasts a walk-in rain shower, while there is a second half bath for use while someone is showering. The house also includes a washer and dryer and a high efficiency heater. There is also a tankless water heater so you will never run out of hot water.<br /><br />The apartment is in an excellent neighborhood, located where the Castro, Hayes Valley, and the Mission come together. This location is perfect!<br /><br />Walk Score of 92 and Transit Score of 100 <br /><br />Most locals walk, take public transportation or use car share services, such as Lyft or Uber. You're just off Market a few blocks from the Church and Van Ness Street subway stations (called MUNI short for municipal) and a few blocks from Safeway and Whole Foods grocery store on Market Street. This means all the difference in the world in livability. There is one small stoop with a few steps to the street and no steps inside the unit or to the back patio. There's virtually no noise in the home and occasional noise from the opening of the garage. But, you are staying in a major city. There's no guarantee your neighbors won't have a party, do construction, or congregate at odd hours. These social stimuli are what many people feel make a city a city. My home is not a good option if you're looking to avoid city life altogether. I suggest reading the reviews to gain an accurate picture of my reputation as a host and what the neighborhood has to offer. The neighbors are all friends and well known to me and we all respect each other's spaces and keep noise levels down. Please also note SF is not car-friendly. I do not offer parking. Most locals walk or use Uber, Lyft, or public transportation.
