Any Maui's future buildings are no longer allowed to build this close to the water, which means you hear the ocean when open your window. Everyday people gather around the seawall to enjoy the sunset, while you can take it all in from private lanai<br /><br />The condo is located off Lower Honoapiilani Rd in Lahaina, Maui (Napili-Honokowai on the map - Kahana to the locals), about 15 mins north of the Lahaina downtown. 1-minute walk north you will find yourself on a small secret beach, 5-minute walk south there is a local's favorite beach park with plenty of room for chairs and towels as well as excellent surfing. Although the exterior of the building is routinely treated to help combat this issue and the condo is thoroughly cleaned between each guest, it greatly helps if you leave the screens shut and don't leave any food out to avoid unwanted creatures<br /><br />This is not resort living, there are some conveniences the large resorts provide that I just can't offer, such as daily change of sheets/towels.
