There is a shared entrance to get inside but I will respect your privacy with exclusive use of the ground floor which does not have access to the kitchen.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />**** PLEASE READ FAQ BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING AN INQUIRY ****<br /><br />Q1. Is my place available for MM/DD/YYYY date to MM/DD/YYYY date?<br />A1. Click on the desired check-in and check-out date on Airbnb. If it allows you to select the dates and you can see the prices, it is available. No need to inquire about availability via message. Also keep in mind that anyone can book at anytime, so availability can change without notice.<br /><br />Q2: How much is this booking?<br />A2: Click on your desired check-in and check-out dates. Then select the number of guests. Assuming the dates are available, you should be able to see how much the booking will cost you in 4 parts (room rate, cleaning fee, Airbnb service fee and Occupancy tax) and in total.<br /><br />Q3. How is parking? (or is parking made available to me?)<br />A3. Parking for one midsized (up to 16ft) vehicle is available for $25/night and only collected after the vehicle is verified to be less than 16ft. For oversized vehicles and additional cars, parking can be difficult to find after 5PM. You may be looking for parking for a long time. Be aware there is street cleaning restrictions Tues 9-11AM (unfortunately this applies to the provided parking space) on one side and 12-2PM on the other side.<br /><br />Q4: Will XXX Car fit in 16ft space?<br />A4: Please do your own research on this question. The length varies by model and year and the answer can be found with a quick internet search. If you are renting a car and want to rent our 16ft parking spot, please verify vehicle length at the time you are selecting a vehicle.<br /><br />Q5. Can I check-in early? (or can I check-out late?)<br />A5. While I make every effort to accommodate these requests, this question can almost never be answered with certainty until the day or two before your arrival (or departure). Guests are often checking out the day another guest check-in and cleanings must be scheduled and performed. Please be prepared to arrive on or after your designed check-in time and depart by your check-out time. Other considerations for luggage drop off may be made.<br /><br />Q6: Can I book 9 (or any number higher than 9)?<br />A6: No, this exceeds my occupancy limits. There is no exception to this.<br /><br />Q7: Does a child count as a guest?<br />A7: Yes, when you make a reservation you will describe the number of adults, children and infants. Infants do not count towards the total number of guests.<br /><br />Q8: How far is the property from SFO? What is the best way to get to my place from the airport using public transportation?<br />A8: It takes 20 minutes to drive (or take UBER, Lyft, Taxi). To do public transportation takes a little longer. You can take BART and walk about a mile to my house, but it may be more cost efficient and convenient to take an UBER pool ride.<br /><br />Q9: How far is the property to Downtown San Francisco (Union Square)? What is the best way to get there from my property using public transportation?<br />A9: Downtown SF is only 15 min away by driving. Alternatively, the Muni 14 will take you downtown. This will take about 40-45 minutes. UBER pool is more convenient and fairly reasonably priced.<br /><br />Q10: Is the neighborhood safe?<br />A10: Yes, I consider this neighborhood safe at all times.<br /><br />Q11: How do payments and security deposits work?<br />A11: Payment in full for the 4 parts (room fee, cleaning fee, Airbnb service charge and SF Occupancy tax) are paid up front at time of booking to Airbnb. One night after check-in, the room and cleaning fees are released to me. No actual money is charged for a security deposit. Rather, a hold is placed in case of damage/broken items. The hold is released 14 days after your check-out or whenever the next guest checks in, whichever is earlier.<br /><br />Q12: How much is an Uber ride from my house to downtown San Francisco?<br />A12: As of Jun 13, 2019, 2PM I looked up an UberX ride from here to Union Square, and the cost was about $22 (max 4 people), $34 (max 6 people). This price is illustrative and varies depending on the time you order a ride.<br /><br />Q13: What floor are you on? How many steps are there to your place?<br />A13: Ground level. One step up and one step down.<br /><br />Q14. May I get a discount? (Or alternatively is the price negotiable? Or alternatively can you give me a deal, etc.)?<br />A14. There is a discount available for long term stays of 4 days or longer. Prices are automatically adjusted for this.<br /><br />Q15: Can I book for X people, but bring X+1, X+2, etc. to avoid the extra person charge?<br />A15: No, we will verify your head count before your arrival and count your party size upon check-in. Extra people beyond your reservation staying past 10PM will incur a fee of $50/person/night.<br /><br />**** END FAQ ****<br /><br />Come stay at my renovated, modern, cozy and quiet 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest suite in San Francisco! <br /><br />It is about 900 square feet.<br /><br />Here are some places nearby:<br /><br />Walk Score 86: Most errands can be accomplished on foot<br />Transit Score 78: Excellent Transit. We will only collect this upon arrival once the vehicle is verified to fit in the designated spot of 16 feet. Will have to move for street cleaning from 9-11am on Tuesdays.<br />- Finding street parking immediately around my house is much easier before 5PM than after.<br />- Unlike other neighborhoods in San Francisco where you can only park on the street an hour or two, you are allowed to leave your car all day (with the exception of street cleaning).<br />- Street cleaning occurs on Tuesday 9-11AM on one side, Friday 12-2PM on the other side every week.<br />- Please don't block my neighbor's driveway at any time. This is something they will not tolerate. You may get towed away. Retrieving the vehicle can cost over $600.<br />- We are in a residential neighborhood. There are no paid parking garages around.<br />- It is highly recommended to not rent a car while touring San Francisco. Enjoy the city the way it was meant to be enjoyed--via walking and public transportation!<br />- You may also take taxi or better yet, taxi alternatives: Uber or Lyft<br /><br />Notes about check-in and check-out:<br />- When you describe why you want to book my place, please also let me know what time you intend to check-in and what time you intend to check-out.<br />- I am not bounding you to these intended times.
