Thank you!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our three bedroom flat is an ideal fit for families and for groups up to 5 adults (2 per bed in king and queen beds and 1 in double). We are very multi-generation family friendly with no stairs inside the unit and just a short flight of stairs at the entrance.<br /><br />Experience city living in a thoughtfully designed, ultra comfortable space. Our open-plan gourmet kitchen connects to the dining & living room and has tons of light and a gorgeous view. It is a very peaceful experience in the heart of the city. If you love design, you'll appreciate the thoughtful floor plan and details in this restored flat, as well as the vintage and antique artwork and details.<br /><br />Stocked with games and books for both kids and grownups and a working gas fireplace, it's an ideal space for rest and relaxation or for enjoying fun times with family and friends.<br /><br />All our bedrooms have luxurious mattresses and are very comfortable (you may not want to get out of bed). <br /><br />Bedroom 1 has a California King bed and will accommodate two adults + a baby crib if needed. This room features an original (non-working) fireplace and a vintage leather reading chair. This room has a bay window and views of St. Ignatius church. A desk or baby crib can be added to this room if needed.<br /><br />Bedroom 2 is a medium-sized Queen room. This room has large windows which let in plenty of natural light. Also room darkening curtains, a large closet, and movable poufs/cubes that can be used as a bench or for blocking little ones from rolling out of bed.<br /><br />Bedroom 3 is a small room with a full-sized modern four poster bed and an antique desk. This room is cozy yet comfortable for 1 adult.<br /><br />The bathroom features a Waterworks 6-foot long extra-deep cast iron bathtub, carrara marble bath counters, and Ann Sacks tile. Hot water is instant (no waiting for your shower or bath.)<br /><br />A working gas fireplace in the living room, as well as central heat and a Nest Learning Thermostat will keep you warm and cozy. And the in-unit full-size washer & dryer makes stays ultra convenient. Flat also includes a security system and monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.<br /><br />Host/Owner onsite. Our unit has two floors and we are just below you. We use a separate entrance and exit when we have guests. Please note that we do have extensive soundproofing and normal family noises are no problem at all. <br /><br />EXTRAS<br />Charging bases with usb-c and usb-a are available as is hardwired ethernet in the king bedroom and living room/dining room. All ceiling lights (and most table and floor lights) have dimmers. HEPA Air purifiers and portable heaters/fans are also available. Unscented laundry products are used for all linens and environmentally friendly products are used whenever possible. Ergonomic chairs for working from home are available on request.<br />Lots of extras are available on request. Just ask, we may already have what you're looking for: cooking/kitchen supplies, baby supplies, work from home supplies, and more.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You're welcome to use wifi, cook in the kitchen, and enjoy relaxing by the fire in the living room. In-unit washer and dryer are available for your use. Please note, our TV is equipped with wireless streaming of Max, Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Prime, Paramount, Sling (including ESPN), as well as many additional streaming channel. We don't have traditional cable TV but we do have almost all the same channels (if not more). <br /><br />If you'd like to play bocce or petanque, we'll be happy to lend you a set. A lovely court is a 5 minute walk and adjacent a coffee stand. <br /><br />Parking: one dedicated parking spot is available in a private garage across the street. Additional street parking is available around us. Also additional paid parking available in a lot a block away.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES:<br />Our house is fully stocked with essentials to insure you can focus on enjoying your time visiting our beautiful city. All cleaning supplies, paper goods and kitchen basics are stocked (olive oil, basic spices) for arrival, as well as ironing board, iron, etc. All household linens are washed with Tide Free unscented detergent and we use environmentally friendly products whenever possible. If there's anything specific you need for your visit, please let us know as we may already have it onsite. <br /><br />BABY & TODDLER GEAR:<br />Please let us know if you need to borrow any baby gear. We have a Baby Bjorn travel crib as well as a Pack-N-Play available for use. In addition, we have a stroller, two high chairs, Bjorn Bouncer, a toddler potty, diaper genie, white noise machine, and kid-safe plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Just let us know in advance and we'll be happy to make these available.<br /><br />HOST/OWNER ONSITE<br />Master suite is on the ground floor and we are frequently available if there's anything you need help with. Please note, especially if visiting with kiddos, that no whispering or tiptoeing is needed. There is soundproofing between floors, however, we do appreciate shoes-off in the house and have slippers available for adults; if you don't find your size, please let us know, we have lots available.
