Or if you prefer a night out in town, you can go to any restaurant within steps of this centrally-located condotel in the heart of Waikiki. <br /><br />The communal laundry, pool, sauna, jet spa, gym, grills, and convenience store are all located on the 6th floor with a great breakfast restaurant on the 1st floor (Forty Niner Hawaii).<br /><br />Although you’re a comfortable walking distance to everything in Waikiki, parking is available both in this popular vacation rental building and nearby.<br /><br />We have a full-time, on-call property management team, and the building has security at all times, guaranteeing you will be in good hands throughout your stay.<br /><br />Come for the relaxation, but take the memories home with you forever. We hope to host you soon!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The Island Colony is surrounded by many convenient stores (including in the building 6th floor), eateries and boutique shops all within the same block.<br /><br />So, walking is great!<br /><br />Also in the same block is the city Bus stop called "The Bus" where you can go everywhere on the island.<br /><br />There is also The Waikiki Trolley (fee) that is offered at various pick up points near by.<br /><br />Uber is always an option too!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />*Notice:<br /><br />To ensure the property remains in excellent condition, the building management periodically schedules essential maintenance, including pest control, window cleaning, emergency water shutoffs for repairs, and other necessary work.<br /><br />While we may not always know the exact schedule at the time of booking, we will promptly inform guests if any scheduled maintenance is expected to impact their stay.<br /><br />Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.<br /><br />------------------------------<br /><br />*NOTICE of TEMPORARY Pool/Jacuzzi Closure*<br /><br />TEMPORARY Closure of the 6th floor Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, & Pool Deck areas starting on NOVEMBER 9th, 2025 at 9:00 p.m. and upon completion, will re-open on NOVEMBER 17, 2025 @ 7:00 a.m. (Weather permitting) for the Annual Preventative Maintenance, Cleaning, & Repairs.<br /><br />As part of this important process, the access gate to the Pool/Jacuzzi Deck area will be locked and secured and ALL of the area’s amenities will NOT BE available for use. (Dates are subject to change)<br /><br />You may stay in the unit if you prefer to do so and although the product to be used has no smell and is not airborne, we highly encourage you to still leave your room and secure ALL of your valuables so that the staff may take their time in doing so.<br /><br />The personnel will have access to the rooms already, so please feel free to leave the room earlier than the said schedule.<br /><br />Again, we highly encourage you to secure any valuables left in the room.<br /><br />We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. As your host, our company will send your information for registration. We will contact you prior to your arrival and will be available during your stay. Our office is in Waikiki.<br /><br />We are from the island, and will be happy to share great places to see and do!<br /><br />Parking is not included. Guests may park in the adjacent parking garage in the Island Colony for $45/day (rates are subject to change). Please pay attendant direct (ProPark).<br /><br />The parking booth is all automated and is not attended 24/7. Should you need parking assistance, in front of IC Front Desk is a Parking Automated Machine/Box that has a button. You can just press the button and the Parking Manager will be contacted.<br /><br />For another option, you can park for free right along the Ala Wai Canal.
