Tugged away from the street the cottage (built in 1870) will welcome you with yasmin and lemons and roses. It is not your usual Victorian but has an open floor plan with windows on all sides. You step into a light living room with kitchen and dining area. Bedroom, study and bathroom are all on the same level. To get to the roof deck you walk up a few more steps to a loft area and from there step out to the deck with stunning views of the city.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The whole main floor of the house and the roof deck is available for you. You will be the only ones in the house. There is a second bedroom upstairs on the way to the roof deck that is not part of the rental but you can walk through anytime on your way to the roof. The queen size bed on the way to the roof can be made available on special request (for an extra fee) if you need it for a surprise guest or any other reason.<br />On the garden level is a small unit with washer and dryer you are free to use.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The whole main floor of the house is yours - with full kitchen, bathroom with big tub - lots of books, art on the walls, even a piano and upstairs a roof deck with fantastic views of the city. <br />Washer and Dryer are in the downstairs unit on garden level.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />To get to my house you have to walk up about 25 steps and a slightly slanted pathway. A bit of an exercise with travel bags or groceries, but I found it well worth it, after having lived here for 25 years.
