Your access code and step-by-step self check-in instructions will be available in the Airbnb app 24 hours before arrival.<br /><br />Access Code Validity:<br />Check-in: 3:00 PM<br />Check-out: 10:00 AM<br /><br />Parking:<br />On-site parking garage with entrance on the Kuhio side of the building. Unlike large hotels, we offer FREE parking (a $50–$80 per day savings) and no resort fees.<br /><br />Please note: the garage ramp clearance is 6 feet. Vehicles taller than 6 feet will not fit and will be turned away.<br /><br />Recreation Deck (6th Floor):<br />Includes a swimming pool, jacuzzi hot tubs, sauna, BBQ areas, tennis/basketball court, and a children’s play area. Newly renovated and reopened on May 18, 2026.<br /><br />Enjoy the community BBQ grills and picnic seating, available daily from 8am to 9pm. The last BBQ rental key is issued by Security at 8:15pm. Please check with Security for current BBQ rental rates and to obtain a rental key before using the grills.<br /><br />A family-friendly beach is located just 1.5 blocks away, perfect for swimming and water activities.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Beach Essentials<br />Your stay comes with all the essentials for a perfect beach day: an umbrella, beach towels, 2 boogie boards, 2 chairs, and a cooler bag for guest use. Please note: snorkel gear is not provided due to liability reasons. Any snorkel gear you find in the unit may have been left by previous guests.<br /><br />Aloha from the Island<br />Having lived here our whole lives, we’ve seen that pests can occasionally appear—even in the highest-rated hotels, condos, malls, and yes, even rental cars! We have an amazing team who keeps our units clean and well maintained. We also schedule bi-monthly pest control to prevent any issues. While it’s extremely rare to encounter pests, they are part of the natural Hawaiian ecosystem. You can help us by disposing of leftover food daily to avoid attracting them.<br /><br />Parking Pass<br />Please return your parking pass at the end of your stay. Replacement cost for lost passes is $250.<br /><br />Building Rules & Quiet Hours<br />The Waikiki Banyan is a non-smoking building. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas away from the building. Please also respect quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. This includes no parties or events inside the unit or around the recreation areas.
