It is the few condominium properties in town with a natural, not man-made, beach.<br /><br />The property has units both ocean front and across Alii Drive. This condo is on the second floor (by stairs) in Building 4 of Kona Bali Kai, across the street from the beach. You can be on the beach in a minute (and there's even a peek-a-boo view from the lanai of the high water line of the waves rolling in, visible through the parking garage across the street)! <br /><br />There are three gas barbecues and picnic tables on the beach-front lawn, and another barbecue with picnic table behind the buildings on "our" side of the street. There is a heated pool and jacuzzi for your use as well, shared with other Kona Bali Kai guests and residents in the ocean front building. <br /><br />In addition to the condo being a great and very comfortable space (reclining sofa, massage chair, king size bed), it also has strong stable internet to support "Work From Home”. The condo is fully equipped for your enjoyment! Strong wifi, Smart TV, Soundbar with Blue Tooth access for playing music as well as great TV watching. Do you love coffee? There's an amazing Jura coffee machine that at the touch of a button, you can have your choice of Americano, Espresso, Cappuccino, Cafe Latte! The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and tools for any foodie. In-unit full size washer and dryer are SO convenient. The Cal-King Size bed will give you the most hcomfortable sleep you've ever had! There are four ceiling fans (living room, kitchen and bedroom). and two air conditioner units. Bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent and dryer sheets are here for you too!<br /><br />We provide men's large and women's medium snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach/pool towels, beach umbrella and coolers for you to use. There is also a little fold-up table (a breakfast-in-bed type) to carry to the beach for your drinks and snacks.<br /><br />From the hightop table on the lanai you have a great vantage point to "people watch" - runners, cyclists, and the life of Kona. A retractable sunscreen protects from the afternoon sun. Free parking for your vehicle is in the parking lot at our building. <br /><br />For extra storage, the bed has been raised above the normal height. There is a bench at the foot of the bed to provide a "step up".<br /><br />Suitable for just two people, you will find everything you want or need for your Hawaii vacation!<br /><br />Kona Bali Kai is a Non-Smoking property. <br /><br />Taxes, included with your reservation, are based on the nightly rate + cleaning fee, and include Hawaii State Excise Tax (listed as "Sales Tax" @ 4.712%), State Accommodation taxes (10.25%) and Hawaii County Accommodation Tax (3%).<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Everything you need for cooking and living is in the condo, including a fully stocked kitchen, sheets and towels, soaps and shampoo, high speed internet, flat screen TV, massage chair, sound bar with blue tooth to play music from your devices, reclining couch, living room air conditioning, Cal-King size bed, shower/bath tub, washer and dryer.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Kona Bali Kai is midway between the Keauhou Resort area and Kailua-Kona, both of which are about three miles away. Shopping (grocery, sundries, boutiques) and restaurants are in these areas. The condo is about 20 minutes from the airport. Bike rental kiosks are dotted along Alii Dr (nearest one is a mile away).
